Choices Day Program
Choices Day Program is designed to teach life skills to adults who have a developmental disability. Developing, working towards and achieving individual goals are the primary focus of this program. Our programming covers several generalized areas of learning including personal hygiene, health, fitness, safety, fine motor skills, social skills, cooking and achieving self reliance. Participants learn about current events, weather, music and can choose from a variety of craft projects. Program members stay involved with the community by volunteering to help with Meals on Wheels preparations, Elk’s Lodge BINGO cleanup and weekly recycling. Warrenton and Wright City High School Vocational Technologies classes visit us throughout the school year to work with the individuals in Choices Day Program. Towards the end of the school year the Vocational Technologies students help organize a prom for the day program adults to enjoy.
